What data we collect

• Contact data: your name, email address and the content of your message, if you write to us by email.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

Cookies and consent

We use Cookiebot to manage your cookie consent. When you first visit the site, you can choose which categories of cookies to accept. Necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot work without them. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the site.

Affiliate links

Some links on mynordicroom.dk are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. To register the purchase, the affiliate network or retailer may place a cookie in your browser. The affiliate networks we work with are Partner-ads, Amazon Associates, Adtraction and Awin. When you leave our site to visit a retailer, the retailer’s own privacy policy applies to any purchase you make there.

Statistics

We use Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics (provided by Automattic) to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. These tools collect usage data such as page views and device type.

Embedded content from Instagram

Some pages show our Instagram feed. Images in the feed may be loaded from Instagram, which is owned by Meta. When this happens, Meta may receive information such as your IP address.

Why we process your data (legal basis)

• Consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)) for statistics and marketing cookies, including affiliate tracking.
• Legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)) for running and securing the website and for answering your emails.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site, such as our web host, Cookiebot, Automattic, Meta and our affiliate partners. Some of these providers are based outside the EU, for example in the USA. In those cases, data is transferred on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up. Cookie data is kept for the period stated in the cookie overview in our cookie banner.

Your rights
